Hello! My name is Mikayla Alardin and I am a senior pursuing a Bachelors of Arts degree in Commercial Art, and I am planning to graduate in May of 2025. Over the past four years, I have maintained a 3.0 GPA and was honored to be inducted as a member of the Kappa Pi Honors Society. During my time at DBU, I have gained an extensive amount of knowledge in various Adobe applications, including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, and through my classes I have developed my skills in several classical art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpting, and digital art.

During the summer before my junior year, I was able to do a Media Coordinator Internship with Skylark Camps in Dallas, Texas where I gained much experience about photography, graphic design, and how to use art as a marketing tool. The DBU Art Department has equipped me for this field with the required classes and all of the projects I was able to complete here, and I am stoked to apply these skills to my future projects and commissions.

I would like to thank the Lord for a deep passion for art, as well as my family, my professors, and all of the people who have supported me during this journey.
